If selected to be in the Equipment Maintenance Prep Program as a Temporary Equipment Maintenance Helper, you will shadow and perform duties on the Equipment Maintenance Team for a period of 3 months. Upon completion of the program, the selected individual will receive a $250 bonus along with a certificate. Additionally, this individual may have future opportunities available for them on the Equipment Maintenance team. Application Process: 1. Submit Application to your supervisor. 2. Your Talent Experience (HR) Business Partner will sit down with you to review the program. 3. Candidate must pass two assessment exams (test prep offered). If candidate passes exams: 4. Interview with hiring manager. 5. Job Description: Assist in performing routine duties of preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair plant production equipment as directed. Position Requirements: · Must have worked in current position six months or longer. · Successfully pass mechanical aptitude exams. · Successfully complete and pass required lift truck operation tests and training and obtain and maintain appropriate lift truck licensing. · Able to pay close attention to detail and follow instructions/procedures to meet quality standards. · Able to perform repetitive tasks (including physical requirements as described below) on a consistent basis. · Maintain consistent and acceptable attendance. · Available to work overtime as needed, including weekend work. · Available for mandatory overtime as appropriate based on business demands. · Able to fulfill all essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner. · Abide by all safety policies, procedures, rules, and guidelines in order prevent and reduce exposure to accidents and injuries. · Able to work in a team environment and facilitating job duties for other team members. · Demonstrate a positive attitude. · Able to work in a machine paced, team environment, requiring a customer orientation. · Possess sufficient keyboard and PC literacy to accurately complete work orders in MP2. · Have prior mechanical and manufacturing experience.
